Face Off With Cancer 3-on-3 Charity Tournament

Jack and Sarah Mildengren Face Off With Cancer is joining forces with Sarah Mildengren in her fight against lung cancer, hosting a 3-on-3 ice hockey charity tournament at the Iceoplex Simi Valley on August 27th and 28th to raise funds and awareness for various cancer support organizations, while honoring and supporting members of the Southern California hockey community who have been affected by cancer. Sarah has been selected as one of the beneficiaries of this event.

Sarah was diagnosed with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer in April 2015 and has been through five rounds of chemotherapy and multiple cancer drugs. The Mildengren family has played a key role within the Southern California hockey community. Their family business, Hockey Alley, has trained Southern California hockey players since 1989 and sponsors the annual Face Off With Cancer 3-on-3 tournament.

Face Off With Cancer is excited to have the opportunity to give back to the Mildengren family and join them in their battle with lung cancer. We hope their story inspires you to join the fight. Learn how you can support Sarah and her family with Face Off With Cancer.
